I've sent a reply RE the Deore shifter. Tested it when packing today and found the indicator was not working. The tiny flimsey (shockingly so) plastic component has broken in 2 places.

Considering this has never done a single off road mile as a unit, I'm appalled. Is this the sort of quaity Shimano now produce?
