I think you fundamentally do not understand how eBay bidding works. I suggest you read the eBay help sections.

marin has nothing to do with this at all and the comparisson was unfair

as you may have guessed many of us couldn't figure out why you would deliberatly cause someone to pay more for something even more so when it was an item you wasn't even bidding on

they way you described it, or certianly the way I read it is that this was a deliberate act of mischieve.

however it was described for me thats how it looked and I just couldn't understand it :?:

Despite finding this a little amusing and aside the issue that some poor buggers potentially lost a bargain buy. The key thing is you did this for what you thought was the right reason. And I am hoping you now understand the workings of auction snipers and see that they are actually quite fair in the way they operate, at the end of day the largest bid will win, wether placed manually days before the auction end, or in the final few seconds by a sniper.
