i use them..stops you getting in to a "bidding war".. usual scenerio sat infront of your screen 2 beers already consumed ..i am led to believe they wont activate if the person ahead of you has activted theirs first..even though you might have set it at the same "activation" time eg.5 secs.

If i am wrong please tell me..as i have set the "snipe" up and it has not activated :roll:

Yes i'm feeling mischevious which is a bit worrying :shock: ..........but where's the fun in bidding if a computor program does it all for you.......... :roll: ...seems very sterile to me and perhaps i'm just missing that feeling of bidding against an actual person.

Where's the fun in running up someone's max bid that they've submitted in accordance with ebay's ToU? ESPECIALLY if it's something you have no intention of buying, and are doing it out of SPITE? I find it disheartening that someone here on Retrobike would complain in one breath about people in their hood being louts and ner-do-wells,, then turn around and gloat about screwing someone out of their hard earned money simply for their own amusement.

Anyway, I'm done with this......erm........_______. It's all a wind-up in retaliation for some recent banifications, with a distinct possibility of some Svengali sock puppetry going on, IMHO.
