After a couple of days of toil and cleaning DEK338 is ready for the North Yorks retro ride tomorrow.

Still a few little things to sort (like where's the Postie with the green cable end caps). Also the STX brakes are a make do until some nice XT V's materialise. Also pedals are what I had in...

The seat post is a carbon Condor one that was in the box and is likely to be changed at some point. The only other bit of bling might be some green chain bolts...

I'm also in the process of getting new decals for the forks and a fresh tubing sticker. The frame will also need some touching up a bit... (don't we all!)

I've left the spacer arrangement on the headset for the moment... might swop out the RC36's and didn't want to cut the steerer needlessly. Tyres are not ideal but the only period black walls i had in! You could say she's in downhill spec!

Final job will be sourcing some bits for a Raceface headset that Ishaw kindly donated... Anyone got a suitable crown race?

Really well to be fair... Slight issue with the front mech. Meaning all the climbs had to be done on the middle ring.

That can be sorted though!
