and after a bit of fixing by Croydon's Finest, it was rideable, and what a ride!
It may be Dekerf's budget model, but the workmanship still shames the names out East...

A nice simple, cheap repair that should last a while, though I'm tempted to convert it to singlespeed, which would mean replacing both chainstays anyway.
No unwanted frame flex is evident, despite weighing in at 2.05 kg.
