Definitive Info on Project 2 Forks - Kona

Guys can you help me out here, I need to know the definitive info on the retro project 2 forks for Kona's in the 90's

1. How do tell Double Butted from Triple Butted?
2. Whats the weight difference between the 2 types?
2a. Double Butted Weight?
2b. Triple Butted Weight?
3. How many colours were they produced in? grey, black, gold??
4. Are they still produced by Kona?
5. What does this code mean? 143F690B
6. Can I assume that the Velocity Stem would always be in the same colour as the forks on an original bike back in the 90's?

steerer will usually have TB or DB stamped on it.

ok, so in the case above (143F690B) who knows? it has neither TB DB??

You could probably learn a lot by looking at catalogues on Konaretro.com

The dropouts seem to be a good way of telling, the triple butted variety have a forged dropout which is more swooping in its shape. The single butted (PG) forks have a slightly more crude welded on dropout.. the picture below is triple butted..
