Define Vintage

You have to remember to kids these days the iphone one is vintage never mind the startac or brick thats positively ancient. Also when using ebay on both sides of the pond in the uk it's mostly retro but in the uk the same things are in the vintage section.

What do you class as vintage?
I've bought a few 'vintage' bits lately that turned out to be 80's or 90's stuff. Since when has that been vintage?

It used to be called second hand untill hipsters came along. 80's sooooo retro and so uncool it could only be really cool yeah? Well bum yeah? Oh Nathan Barley, so true, so funny.

Any who, they couldn't possibly be seen buying second hand tat so that's when it became "vintage" because that gave it a touch of class. 80's & 90s vintage fashions v second hand clothes, which sounds better when worn with skinny jeans, assymetric hair, thin soled shoes, irksome mock NHS designer spectacles...

I'll never forgive them for massacring perfectly good geared bikes to create their monstrosities oh and ruining the bike market by jacking all the prices up.

Personally, I like to freewheel when I overtake them, as they puff on their pipes or rollies... either that, or do big skids into perfect track stands in front of them as they wobble doing bad track stands at the lights
