I can't see your image, but I'm guessing your lower end bushing/spring base has come disassembled.
Originally, the bushing had 4 protrusions from its end that engaged teh spring base. They were a snug fit and would hold together if pressed together with strong finger pressure. They are sometimes rather looser than that.
Re-assemble them, and hold them together while you set them on teh stud, and run in the screw. Once the screw is run in, but not snug, pull the spring out away from the wheel, and hold it there while tightening the screw. It'll be fine then, and work as ever. No biggy.
