With decals i know the the big ones are one sticker with a outer square but the smaller ones like ringle stems seats xtr cranks do they all come as a square sticker or can you get them just as cut out letters with no outer square hope that makes sense cheers

What you need to look for is Die Cut stickers/decals.

Cheers i have a look
When they're very small, say 3 or 4 mm high, it's very difficult to cut vinyl with a plotter. VERY difficult.
I got the Race Face Next LP, but it was already complicated.
There's another technique: UV DTF, which is basically a transfer similar to the one used for T-shirts. You can get very small text (the Ritchey pedals are only 3 mm high and less than 1 mm wide at the typography stroke). It also sticks superbly (be careful! If you make a mistake when sticking it, it's very difficult to remove and it will be completely destroyed; it can't be reused). But you get a lot of cleanliness, like the XTR cranks or the Avocet saddle, for example. It looks superb and sticks well.
