Decal residue

For future ref, brake cleaner works a treat.
Buy it in an aerosol from any car maintenance place / Hellfords.

And in a round about way I've also heard peanut butter is good for cleaning rims??

peanut butter - works a treat!!
dont believe me?? try it
wipe some peanut butter on the frame and let it sit there. wipe it off and then use a cloth with a tiny tiny amount of washing up liquid on it and wipe it - hey presto - all gone!

You said this when I put a residue thread up a while back.....always wondered how you learnt this!!

I always use nail varnish remover to get rid of residue BTW

I cant remember where i learnt this from but it does work - trust me i used it on my marin frame before i put the new decals on!

yep or peanut oil on a cloth will work - just dont use too much and then wipe off rim properly otherwise you will never stop!

Hmmm, I got to try peanut butter...any specific kind of peanut butter:

I have chunky and natural.

got to be chunky and none of that low fat low salt rubbish - the full fat chunky version works best
