I think there has been bullying on here, which is not nice.

If people really feel there is bullying occuring please PM myself or another moderator and we will deal with it. It is not my perception bullying of any kind is occuring, however if it is this will not be tolerated.

Curious how I've had 0 PMs on bullying yet if someone is 3 days late getting that 200GS mech out in the post my inbox is bombarded.

I used to be a moderator on a football site John, you can imagine how heated that used to get. We just had a report function on each post that went straight to the mods. Totally discreet and very effective. It was a version of the V Bulletin software.

I can imagine that must've been a thankless task. When I finally get round to moving to the next version of phpbb (I probably could've done it in the time I've wasted on this :roll: ) this has a report post button. As I said before people are welcome to PM me if they have any issues.

I was going to pm about it but I saw the guy who was that in my eyes getting bullied got a temp ban. So thought I was best to keep quiet as you had sorted it out.

Possibly and probably this should have been dealt with more discreetly.
However in answer to one of your questions, my other threads were a (perhaps badly chosen) response at threads that had already been opened as a slur against me and others.
I also think a lot of members may benefit or have a valid point of view at a subject like this being raised.
Im sorry you feel that this is such a waste of time for you, but perhaps responses just like that will make you understand why others do not feel the mods/yourself are approachable on sensitive matters.
I cant help but feel they may also be thinking it will fall on deaf ears depending on whom is in question.

Judging by the many messages ive now received I do not think this is quite as trivial as others are making out.
The fact that you have now stated bullying will be taken seriously has given me some comfort, but in all honesty, up until your last post I dont think it was.

I missed whatever happened but I fail to see how you can bully anyone on an internet forum :?

My eldest son who is 8 comes home from school on the odd occation with hurt feelings, if someone has been cruel to him and given his age that is perfectly understandable but at the ripe old age of 39, if someone or a group of folk on here were discourteous/rude/mean to me, I wouldn't really give a ****.

Words are just words and people will be judged on what they say if they are being horrid, the folk on here are a pretty intelligent bunch (well apart from mikee who hordes xt thumbies but that's another story) but saying your being bullied in cyberspace makes no sense to me at all, sorry if that seems brutal but that is how I see it :?

Thats fine Gaz, you are entitled to your opinion of course. Thats the beauty of it.

However its fair to say you may not know all the facts? and bullying can take many forms.
I think I made a passing comment of bullying which has since, rather interestingly, been raised by others.

But you have made friends with people on this website right?
So in effect you have made cyber friends? (regardless of subsequently meeting them at events)
Could you not have a cyber 'falling out'?

And you are right, there are a lot of intelligent people on here.
