My ten pence.... I've never found the good people of retrobike anything but friendly. I've been the new face at a few meets and rides and have always been made to feel welcome.
My knowledge of bikes has always been restricted to what I wanted but couldn't afford (and in most cases still cant!) when I was 15. I stopped riding at 16 so retro is all I've ever really known.
Even though I'm an engineer, my bike maintenance skills are shite but I've never felt that there was a question I couldn't ask or that I'd be made fun of for asking.
I've made some good friends on here (and spent a bloody fortune!) and while I can understand how people may well wind each other up I just think that life is too short.
Saying that, that makster can be a right cock sometimes!!
