DB Sorrento 1990

Well according to the catalogue, in 1992 the Sorrento had double butted True Temper AVR frame and forks, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that the same was true in 1990.

Seems to have been normal for DBs to share the same frames across large parts of the model range back then.
Just to be pedantic, there - the 92 Sorrento is listed as having AVR double butted main tubes where as the other models (like the Ascents and Apex and Response that also used AVR, will probably be AVR double butted throughout - ie they don't seem to be listed with the caveat of "main tubes").

As in my other post, the 91 Sorrento didn't use AVR (least not according to the brochure).

i had a 91 sorrento bitd. black, 200GS biopace shimano. great times had on it as a youngster...but it certainly was HEAVY!!

the grey and black splatter topanga of that same year at the top of this thread, is a really nice looking bike i think.

i really like the 91 versions of DB's bikes. they had wicked paint jobs, and nice spec.
