For sale is my 1986 Dawes wild cat, 19 inch frame NOW SOLD

This bike still has the original tyres and brake blocks and is in excellent condition for its age with just the usual cosmetic marks and scratches.

I rode this bike at the peak district National ride and it never missed a beat, that's why it won bike of the ride

The reason I have decided to sell the bike is because it would be better off with someone who is more into collecting, restoring bikes, its far too original to be used all the time.

sachs huret thumb shifters

sachs huret front and rear mech 3 X 5 speed

Shimano AT 50 cantilever brakes

If I recall, that was the smallest size available! One of these from a year later was my first ever mountain bike. I'm tempted but fundamentally lack the space.

The frame would normally be slightly too big for me but it's fine, maybe it's the geometry.

If for some reason you split the bike up, I would be interested in the tyres and poss the wheels. :shock:
