Hi, so I’m trying to sell anything of value that belonged to my lying, cheating, stealing, despicable husband. I’m going to list his bike, a Dawes Rough Trade on eBay, but I don’t know the price range for it and there aren’t any others on there for reference. When Googling any information about the bike model it led me here, and I can see that this forum is obviously the best place to ask for advice.

I’ve attached photos of the bike, I know he loved it and was pleased when he got it. So I’ll be glad to sell it.

Thank you for any advice given.

Hell hath no fury . . . In that condition and in that size, which is too large for most people, I reckon you would be looking at £50 or thereabouts. You would get more by breaking it down and selling the parts separately: £10 for the bar ends, £20 for the wheels, etc. but it's more bother.

(If you really wanted to get even, @The History Man would acquire it and do something outrageously offensive with it [like this: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/89-thm-raleigh-dyna-technicolour.432713/page-3#post-3160766] which is usually enough to make grown men cry, even when it's not their own beloved bikes involved.)

Ideally, you should consult a solicitor before you start selling things, though, especially if the husband, as despicable as he might be, owned the bike before you were married.

Where are you? And more importantly, where is your husband? I see you're also asking for quotes for a new patio....................
I’d dig the hole myself trust me! I’m in Essex, my husband? Sadly still very much alive and whereabouts unknown, after clearing out my and our son’s bank account, he did a runner and is now some other poor, unsuspecting woman’s problem.
