Dawes rebuild

I have acquired a DAWES frame plus brakes.
Is anyone interested in taking it off my hands to restore it to its former glory. I am in Billericay

the question is, what was it's former glory? Dawes made a whole range of bikes over the years from very nice through to ride it to the pub and leave it there.
