Dawes: - I. D the model

Any ideas as to the model. I was thinking Imperial but the head stock graphic is the wrong era. Frame number is AE97.

Damn fine looking frame doesn't look like a Dawes though, any pics of the seat stays, full frame, dropouts.....

It has a chain-stay bridge so unlikely to be on of the King's

Haden fork crown, very long point lugs...... when did Cecil Walker stop building frames?

There is something odd about the decals. The head stock is 70's I think and the down and seat tubes look early to mid 80's. The reynolds stickers look late 80's.
There are no mudguard eyes. 27" wheels fit. Clearances are close but not super tight.
