Dave Yates Frame 18"

sorry to hijack, but....
I bought my mate a Dave Yates full bike a few years ago, in a similar size to this (18"). It's the later 853 version, V brakes with a nice spec inc Pulstar hubs, some XT, White Ind cranks, etc. It's in good shape overall BUT the seatpost is stuck in the frame.
He's thinking about selling it - any interest here?
