Re:

I have some very mild cutting compound that a friend who works in a body shop gave me, that and some white spirits and a bit of muscle work.

There are still a few traces of rust all over the place and I do have some other wax I can put on the frame, but it's never going to suffer the kind of conditions I rode through at Haldon a week or so back, so a quick wipe down with a rag and some GT85 should keep it looking spanky.

It's looking great Neil! I think the silver stem works well, probably better than the black one would.

8) good to see this again, even better if there were more pics of it, maybe closer up :)

Re:

Not forgot, just slow going due to spending time riding.

Almost there, just one small addition needed and I can take it for a ride.

In answer to a question posed some time ago, I know Venhill Racing anodised bits were about in the early 1990's. I still have their bolts on my Zaskar.

Re:

Yes I remember Venhill stuff.

It has a smattering of red and blue here and there, with one more red item due, as soon as I can be bothered to get a longer M6 bolt (Monday.... honest).

Most definitely. Not like you to go all retro ;-)
