I waited a week for something off him a while back - he was very appologetic when he did get back to me.

Sometimes things happen and posting stuff is not as important as the person waiting for it would like it to be.

Personally don't think its acceptable to sell something, accept payment and then disappear off the face of the earth.
I think the least you can do if there is going to be a delay in sending goods, is let the other person know.

Maybe you should wait until you have got in touch. I've dealt with him, no prob's.

I know we had an issue with Deore2 a while ago, but we should give each other the benefit of the doubt before assuming the worst.

Maybe contact Admin on here discreetly before posting like this on the chat thread.

Just a thought. Someone may have fallen ill or worse in the family etc. I imagine there's a good reason.

Maybe if I wait, I still wouldn't hear from him. I've dealt with too many people who don't care in the past to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I'm sorry, but having lost far too much money to theives, I have to take a different approach
I've mailed and paid him 10 days ago. I've had no contact, so I put up a relevant post.

My mum passed away on the 25th of Nov. Out of the blue, and left me a little messed up for a few days, although I managed to mail everyone I was in contact with to let them know I hadn't dissappeared off the face of the earth, and that I had other thing on. It only takes a few minutes.

Yes I could have mailed admin. What are they going to do. Mail him too? Why should he reply to them and not myself.

Don't get me wrong I haven't started this thread to point fingers nor have I posted it 'like this' , but I was hoping someone could have shed some light on where he is if they new him etc. Fingers crossed I'll hear from him and I'll have a frame in the post.

As you mentioned, we had a problem with Deore11. So, now, when it comes to money and other people, you just have to be extra careful. As said above, their priorities are not the same as my own.

Dave, if you come across this, it's not aimed at a 'point your finger' approach or trying to slag you off, life too short for that crap, just trying to find out where you are

For the record the mods are aware of this issue and monitoring things. Hopefully this will all work out in the end.

Could it be the 'wind down' by the Royal Mail towards Christmas? I haven't dealt with him but I don't think anyone needs to jump to conclusions.
