CUSTOM FRAME...

forward facing seatpost clamp, 1.25 headtube with king devo headset (pinnarello style), no chainstay or seatstay bridges, just gussets on the stays (more mud room), ritchey plexus/ curtlo ;) curved style seatstays, 2 bottle bosses on the downtube (early yeti style) full length cable guides, disc brake only, fillet brazed, breezer dropouts, anti chainsuck device.

sorry, nothing wacky, just properly rideable :)

Nice!

8) Great stuff folks im liking what i hear..

That BONTRAGER E-STAY drawing is well cool....

And could be done...But would it not flex like a son of a bitch?

I think all E-stayed frames need beefing up at tube connecting points...

Scant you have taken a blue print of my own ideas

This will probably be quite conservative looking when finalised..But still want some more pics posting and peoples thoughts :D

ironically its most of the imput that went into Joes curtlo. curly, the original owner wanted a new frame, we disgussed the features on a long summer ride once, then who best to make it, headset size, bottle placement & chainsuck plate didnt happen, the rest did :) ..sizing was based on his yeti ti, but jigged for 100mm forks & with a slacker seattube. curly only sold it as the trails around here are super-rough & we're all XC FS converts these day.
as I never lower my seat I'd go for an extended seattube (scott strike, ritchey P-Team, yeti ASRc) style, but curly didnt love that idea so much
I'd also go for a paint matched stem & forks :)
if you like a drink mid -ride, get a bottle opener as well ;)

Well yea vertically. But then vertical complience is a good thing.
Think Y-BB, Scalpl Ibis Szabo (?) and what was that Ritchey bike with the curvey seat stays?

(This would be down right squirrley)

Again Mike, not far off what I would go for
Gussets and no stay bridges have always been my thang. With discs, no real need for seatstay bridge. Gotta be a straight ST/CS disc brace though. Quite like the plexus stays, but would also go for a dropped TT, in the Rocky stylee.
Double DT bosses are another of my little likes. Anti chainsuck thing always good. Cables all TT routed, under the TT so looks neat.
Not cowled dropouts though, something small, neat and elegant. Niceley tapered stays. 63mm BB. Low-ish BB. About 16.7" CS, 23.3" TT. Angled to suit 100mm forks for quick and tight in the woods, yet wind out the forks to 120-130 or so to slacken off for the bigger DH.
Relatively short HT - maybe 4.5". ST C-T about 18.5". Thin tubing, mid size DT, skinnier TT. Ring reinforced HT, so middle milled to remove weight. Milled BB, with drain grommet. sealed DT/TT/stays. Tigged, with very small, neat welds. Not filed.
Simple two coloeur fade colour - yet to be decided.,.
