I think we could open up a new thread. Ill post some of my early industrial design sketches here - so all who are interesting in contributing etc please do!

Looking forward to helping, by trade im a design development engineer working mainly in solidworks, and will be happy to lend time and skills to a retro-product project.

I dont think we should copy anything anyway. Seems silly to do that.

Maybe use it as a template to improve on - and add a modern twist perhaps with a retro nod.

Maybe start with something a little simpler than a rear mech. Possibly start with a set of cantis or something to see how it works with pooling resources...
