Crossmax spoke question

I have a pair of Crossmax first gen which have a couple of loose spokes on the rear wheel. They are on the radial laced side which means they are straight. When trying to turn the nipple the whole spoke spins.

I’ve tried grabbing it with a rubber band and pliers but no luck. Any ideas?

Sounds like a corrosion bond.

The rears on these suffer from the area around the eyelet cracking and pulling out towards the hub, it’s worth checking this before spending much time on it.
An XC727 rim fits on if you can find one.

I’ve checked for cracks and there isn’t any. Rim is still true and looks like it’s had little use.

Masses of WD40 and patience. Hold the pliers close to the nipple and skip the rubber.
