Well it's cost me nothing to get it here and decide what to do with it. Not even petrol. Was picked up by son as near his work in Bristol and he's back for a bit so.........

Will get better pics when he gets home.

Is it the usual to deal with the rust? Mech hanger is interesting.

this is what happens when somebody tries to take off the plate. and cut off the hanger, which luckily is solid despite the gouge. Might have a go at filling it with something. Solder?

had a go at it and decided it's saveable. Never going to be pretty so needs to turn heads somehow. That's where my twisted genius comes in..........

Really don't want to cut that lovely steerer......... Should be fine. With the wheel I have in mind.

Spacers will be far more aesthetic eventually.
