Cream Crackers

Again - I do like water biscuits (though they're a bit expensive for what you get aren't they?), but they're not cream crackers. I'm still waiting for someone to explain their sudden absence from both Lidl and Morrisons in tasty, value-for-money own-brand format...

Jacobs for me too 8)

Used to know a chap years ago could eat an entire packet of crackers dry and without a drink,at one sitting

Re:

Jacobs over bake their crackers.
Tescos actually justify the 'cream' in cream crackers.
I've eaten whole packets without reaching for a liquid refreshment. Does that make me a tough guy?

Everybody likes me
They think I'm crazy
I pull my string and I do my thing.
Two Steps Back
I don't need the acid factories
I've got mushrooms in the fields
Julian said "How was the gear?"
They don't sell things to you over there
A cigarette goes out when you put it down.
Two Steps Back
Had a look at the free festivals
They're like cinemas with no films
You could make a fire with the seats
You could boil up some [...] dips
Or get into the subway for the icecream to come around.
Two Steps Back
Two Doors Down
I meet my old friends there
They queue up for cash there
They are part Irish
They have no conscience
They get threaded by the cracker factory.
Two Steps Back
The cracker factory:
A place where you get into the working routine again.
Rehabs for no hopes
Prefab for jobless dopes.

I think that the answers thus far in this thread show that many species of cream cracker have gone the way of the dinosaurs, in a sudden extinction level event.
They were simply unable to evolve and compete in a changing environment, whilst the Jacobs cracker it seems was able to thrive on its quality and name, and so survive to dominate the cracker marketplace.
