Someone at Chainreaction Cycles has a good sense of humour.
Got home this morning after dropping the Mrs off at work to find the postman had left a note he had a package in the recycling tub. I had a feeling it was my QR bolts for my maguras but couldn’t work out why he didn’t just put it through the letterbox. :?
Went to the tub and found a bigger box than expected.
The Polo’s are there for reference to size.

it is there standard packaging these days.
means they only have to buy the one (or maybe 2 for much larger stuff) size of packaging.

and being as it's free postage it's no real loss.

there was a post about this a month or so ago.

thats their standard packaging now. the last 4 bits i've ordered, from a bb to a set of grips has come in the same box.

Yeah I remember there was one something along the lines of "have crc run out of jiffy bags"

Just wasn't expecting 2 bolts in shoe box for size 12 feet.

i think the most comical package i ever got was from wiggle.

ordered a seat post shim and it arrived in what i believe to be the biggest jiffy bag they make lol.

Are these new boxes the reason behind CRC deliveries getting slower? When they used Jiffy bags you could almost rely on stuff being delivered next-day. This week I waited 4 days for a delivery of a small item like the image above. Posties can add jiffy bags to their regular post bundles but these boxes limit the amount of post they can physicaly carry.

posties usually add my jiffy bags to there own pockets, i'll wait a day or 2 more if it means i get what i'm paying for.
