N No Longer Registered Retro Guru May 12, 2008 #12 Three legged puller works well. I used to remove the cranks (on regular occasion ) with one of these tools on a Saracen I had years ago which I managed to wreak the extractor threads on with some ghetto Syncros crank-o-matic copies.

andrewl Senior Retro Guru Feedback View May 13, 2008 #13 There's a few threads on this topic, do a search and you should find some good techniques for romoving the cranks without having to destroy anything. If you want to save the cranks retap the threads and make up an oversized tool to suit - its not as hard as it sounds.
