I knew i should have stayed in bed today...lol.. got some used STX cranks to put on an old raliegh... according to Sheldon and advice on here i needed a BB .. 68mm x 110.5 spindle length... but guess what.. the none drive side crank arm hits the chain stay... any ideas plz.. cheers.

If i go up to 113mm will that not only give me 1.5 mil clearance either side... if so, it is going to leave the crank arm extremely close to chain stay.

Hard to say now as i have took it back off...lol.. will put it back on later and double check, but it does hit enough to stop the crank spinning freely... if i flex the crank by hand i can get it to miss it.... will double check later.

Maybe a couple of pics will help... the drive side rings seem to press on a lot further on to the spindle.. but still has massive clearance at the chainstay.. but the the none drive side is the opposite...
