ParcelMonkey aren't couriers. They're just resellers like interparcel, parcel2go, parcelsplease etc.

IIRC there's a line in the T&Cs about oversizing, and I think it mentions either an extra charge and/or serious delay which is fairly standard. You'd have to be quite unlucky over a few cm though. I'd still be asking the guy to chop the box right down and reseal- it'll be the right size and almost certainly cheaper as well. Absolutely no reason not to imo.

Seller sounds a bit clueless tbh. It's up to him to make sure you receive it.
