Cosmetically challenged Colnago Master, 56cm-ish, PRICE DROP

I recently bought this as a complete bike but it was not very accurately described shall we say and not suitable for the build I had in mind. For cash reasons I'm looking to move it on although it is well worth restoring, alternatively if you have always wanted a Master but been put off by hight prices and can live with a few cosmetic defects this is for you.

Colnago Master Olympic, Gilco tubing (of course), 58cm c2t, 56.5 c2c, 56cm tt.
Italian BB, 130 rear spacing, 27.2mm seat post, 1" threaded headset. The Record headset shown is included, it's pretty smooth and plenty of life left.

The hi-res pictures here:

Pics speak for themselves but the main problem area is the chrome on the rear triangle, as far as I can tell it would appear the bike was ridden on salty roads then left to stand, so the degradation is surface level only but can only be resurrected by re-chroming. Rear triangle is worst, fork not so bad, and there's a little bit of rust on the lugs. Another thing of note is the paint is lifting around the bottle cage mounts, this is common on Master due to a combination of the tube profile and the fact all tubes are chrome under the paint. This said, the bike appears to have no rust problem internally and will ride as well as any other Master (i.e. well!), from a distance when built up it looks great. You could get plenty of use out of this before restoration becomes a necessity.

Price NOW £285 collected from London SE1/Waterloo, welcome to come and view. Shipping available at cost but please look at photos in detail before buying sight unseen.
