Cool, unique, possibly a one off - What is it?

Hello fellow Retro bicycle connaisseurs I have seen quite a lot stuff trough the years and I built a solid amount of knowledge, but when I saw the bike featured in this topic I really thought; "Wtf is that?!"

A friend of mine got his hands on it today. He is collector and he seems very happy with it. What I fully understand as I do like the looks and defo breaths a kind of uniqueness. BUT what is it?

What a purpletastic bike!! That 'Concept' writing on the top tube reminds me of my old Univega from years ago - Concept used to make their bits for them, I had some of their bar ends. Cant give you anymore info than that I'm afraid

The amount of weird stuff in the back of Mountain Bike Action in the ninetiess,that could be anything,but i does say concept and they made some good bikes back then,so probs is what it is a concept-concept

The concept usa bikes I've seen tend to be crap wal-mart/target type stuff (department store)....but this one doesn't look like them.

Perhaps they were trying to go high-end at some point and made this thing...but that is strictly a guess.

Do you have a spec list for that bike, theres some mix of parts there.



ps spesh nimbus tyres are probably the worst tyres I have ever ridden, truly awful for a modern tyre.
