cool non - bike projects???

My dubs tended to be 'ratty' twenty years back, thanks to constant repairs.

I tend to like rusty old yank tanks so I may be peculiar.

None at the moment but here's a MK2 XR2 2.1 ZVH Turbo I built .. about 240bhp & stoooopid..

My VW Caddy which has now gone too..

The polo had a extensive amount of work.... But thats gone now..
The project (untouched for the last year) is the boat.

Looked like this when i collected it.
And yeah thats 1043cc 4 speed POOOOOWWWWEEERRRR towing it from bristol to southampton .
Managed it with ease

this is testing shes watertight...

Still need to source a bigger engine.
The outboard on it is only a 12.9hp chrysler. Ok for pootling up a river but not alot else..
Also need to wire it up, and fit pumps...


Its had a new keel, Loads of new ply, and a totally new interior..

My first car (in 96) was a 94 1043, 4 speed Polo ("Coupe" no less!) and - much like my first proper mountain bike - I loved it.

No air con, manual everything, steel wheels (proper VW wheeltrims, though!). Still loved it, still have happy memories! My next 2 cars were VWs and I had 3 more in subsequent years.

Cool, Ive had 16 mk2 polos one mk1 and 2 mk3's.

Ive had approx 30 vw's alltogether, lol. Mainly aircooled although one santana as well.
Do love VW'S
Dad still has a lowered bug, So i get my veedub fix from driving that occasionaly....


Currently driving a 57plate Fiat Panda 100hp. Highly reccomend them to anyone!! Absoltuely epic car. Realy impressive lil thing
