but he does have a collection of the stuff, what you must realise is that he is putting others off it so that he can grab it a bargain price.

In the same vein: a quick message regarding any specialized ultimates, Yeti C26s or Merlin newsboys that ever appear on ebay - no one should ever bid on these as they will fall to bits and you'll look daft on them anyway. Now lets see if that works, £100 Ultimate here I come

I fully admit to what I like (& hate!), & yes I do own 2pairs of cook bros QRs purely for asthetics, I would never properly ride with them. they're renowned for not clamping down tight enuff (like the odyssy QRs & the original hopes) & thats why I recommended that they're for garage queen use only
If I ever see stuff I want on ebay I never tell a soul ... well a few people maybe,.. & they know who they are

out of all the bikes mentioned pete, the C26 is the only bike thats supposed to fall to bits. after riding both newsboys & ultimates I really cant diss either as I love both ... although the earlier newsboys are significantly cooler than any later post merlin buyout attempts IMHO
