Cook Bros crank arm lettering

Anyone succesfully re-done the lettering down the arms of Cook Bros cranks?

Looks etched (and mine's worn about 80% ) and I'd like to get it back if poss. .

Quick search revealed nowt... :?

You can get a reverse decal and dip it in caustic for the effect or someone else suggested water blasting. There is a thread somewhere.

try you local sign makers/engravers
they should be able to etch it for you for a few quid

We have laser etching equipment in work that I know would sort that out no problem.

i did mine with paint and they looked really good

Just gave them a quick polish (having fitted the compact spider that arrived this morning ) and reckon that the lettering would look ridiculously cool in black (or possibly green - but probably better in black)...

Anyone got a source for the appropriate stencil/reverse decal??
