Converting single to double chainset...

I've seen that these fixie types make a number of parts with an 'old school' look. I was particularly interested in what appear to all intents and purposes to be brand new Campag Record chainsets (made by Andel amongst others). The only fly in the ointment is that they are offered as single ring chainsets and I can't tell from the pictures if they will accept an inner ring to convert them to a double. Has anyone tried this - i.e. coverting a single chainset to a double?? Just wondering...

apart from ensuring the bottom bracket axle is wide enough, just get longer chainring bolts and attach an inner chainring. Easy. You dont need the usual "shoulder" on the spider on the inside of a double.

I don't think the Andele ones will take two rings. They are designed for single-speed and have 1/8" thick chainrings. You'd need to use 3/32" if you wanted to use multiple gears.
