Concorde TVT 55

Retro Newbie
Hi all,

I've come into the possession of what I believe is quite a rare vintage road bike frame. It's a Concorde TVT55, carbon frame but beyond that I know nothing about it.

Anyone got any info on this? It's been sitting about gathering dust so the ultimate aim would be to sell it on, no idea of specs / value etc? Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Hello
Is the reference to 55 the size?
It's certainly a TVT, a lot of these ended up as Concorde branded. It appears not to have the TVT logo machined into the seat post / top tube lug, perhaps you could confirm this? 'TVT' will also be formed into the carbon on the driveside chainstay.
The frame number under the BB will include the production year, size and BB threading, B, I or F.
I might be interested in it.
Regards
John

Re:

Cheers for the help guys... I can't see anything branded on the top lug thingy, under the bottom it's got TVT 55T and 130990137 machined in there... haven't checked the carbon at the back so will do that when I get home :D

So it was built in 1990, 55cm seat tube and the 55'T', will actually be a poorly stamped 'I', indicating Italian bottom bracket threading.
It appears to have a Concorde stem as well?
Please PM me if you are still interested in selling.
John

Ok, so no new pics yet, but the driveside chainstay does have the TVT stamped into the carbon. Nothing at all on the seatpost, the front stem is stamped 'CTA' I believe :)

Re:

Here are all the relevant bits I believe... showing a few bits of wear on the lacquer, blank seat post, blank front, CTA(?) stem, TVT stamped into the chainstay bitty...
