Component choice help for a yo eddy build

Right, I'll start as I mean to go on, I'm indecisive at the best of times, and due to a death in the family, I need to take my mind off things, so want to get the Yo Eddy built. I've been amassing parts, testament to my inability to decide what to hang on the frame, and so far have the following options (or mixture thereof):

Option 1 - Silkly Suntour
I've practically got a full XC pro groupset (though the hubs are laced to some turquoise aero rims at the moment). The only issue here is (aside from a wheel build as I'm not sure the blue will be too much) that the front mech is a bottom pull, and when the seat tube was repaired on the frame I now own, no roller was added/left, so I'd need a top pull - do they even exist? I'm also a bit shy of going 7 speed suntour (I have the parts to), as I would prefer 8, but not sure about the compatability of shimano/suntour cassettes/shifting.

Option 2 - M900 all the way
Tried and tested, I have all but a wheelset.

Option 3 - Mixed bag (M900/other parts mix)
I've got a set of controltech cantis and could use these along with some m900 stuff, I could even go XT thumbies, some other canti brake levers etc. If I don't use the controltech cantis, they will have a good home on the amplifier, which is running a bunch of other controltech stuff, or they could even make their way onto whatever I fit my lawwill leader forks on (though that will probably never happen). I also have some kooka cranks (probably dont go but hey) and some caramba side winders that may also complement the mixed bag approach.

Other dilemmas

Wheels - Option 2 and 3 would need wheels sourcing, any thoughts on a good set of wheels?

Finishing kit - I initially thought about going brown saddle andd grips, as I've kind of done black to death. I was thinking along the same lines of anno bling and want to keep this subtle. I initially thought about ti seatpost, stem and bars, and bought some, but the scallys on eBay have conned me into buying 1 1/8 stems when I asked and was told they were 1 inch. How tough is it to get a 1 inch ti stem, or should I think about just sticking with silver. I've a moby post, ritchey stem, so would just need silver bars - Ritchey? Other ideas?

Oh, forks can be either the Judy XC pictured, some Judy FSX carbon numbers, possibly some Judy SL's, Pace RC35/30's or even just some black rigid Tioga big forks (until such times as a set of segmented forks becomes available).

I probably have many other queestions, but these will hopefully spring from a healthy debate with you all on the options I've put forward so far, so lets hear what you think of my indecisveness, amassed parts and other options, and I'll take it all under advisement, and procrastinate some more.

Here are some pics of some of the bits, as it may help stimulate ideas and debate.

I was kind of thinking the same thing about the carambas actually. Bought them on a whim, but they do look good and would work with the build I reckon. The ti stem sounds good, will need to do some googling and see what they look like, but if you do have one at a non-bank-balance busting price, I would certainly be interested, as I could get cracking on the build.

Its a nice dilemma to have there Ian, the makings of a superb bike in several guises!

If it was me I would go with some black components but I see your point of a nice discreet build. I just really like that black Ringle with yellow lettering, matches the Yo decals perfectly, and Ringle and FC seem to go hand in hand.

Maybe this could still go with the silver Moby post and some cool silver bars?

As for the rest I love those Caramba cranks and M900 mechs. Xt thumbies rule and the Ctech canti's look the business. That would leave you still looking for some nice canti brake levers. . . . . .

Suntour all the way :D They did do a top pull mech - it was shared between pro and comp.

They appear on ebay from time to time - usually pretty cheap too - I've also see the odd one on here.

Im having the same dilemma !
Im almost thinking of collecting two sets of different components to see what looks best !

You can get top pull front mechs, though they may be slightly newer ?

With your frame colour, think black stem/post cranks would look nice
