Do you have a budget ?

Not really, £200ish seems better than say £300, lets me put an extra £100 to a DSLR one day. But if there was something significantly better I'd go for it. Does that make sense?

The TZ7 looks nice, has many many resolutionsm inclcuding native HDTV Now to find a bargain.

if you did go the ebay route, you could do alot worse than this if it goes for less than £30 it's a feckin bargain, they're about the most under-rated camera ever. only 3mp but fantastic lens. I have one as a chuck-about now and wouldn't be without it. Good heritage - Yashica/Contax was always one for those that know

I recently purchased a lumix TZ7, its a great piece of kit with a great lens, I have it set in widescreen mode to match laptop resolution, It also has a native 720p (HD) video record feature which you can hook up to your HD TV with an HDMI cable
