ha I wish, I'm afraid I'm going to have to look more mainstream. But your giving away a few clues today :twisted: whens the big day?

I have six months to make up my mind assuming a fabrication period of a further six months Trouble is he's recommending I get a 29er - about which I know zilch.

Then definitely go to the mtbr 29er forum and also seek out the Fargo thread (may be in the Salsa forum) should paint a fair picture of what there about though they are a wee bit fanatical. Ideal bike for you I reckon, great for the big country stuff. IMO the positives far outweigh the negatives and especially for the type of riding you do.
