I went into a bike shop today, and I have to say although I don't really like modern bikes I loved the Surly Crosscheck they had on display. What a lovely, well designed machine it is.

Is it just me, or does the salsa look like it's been involved in a shopping trolley pile-up before falling into the effluent from the common cold research centre?

Orange isn't my favourite colour, but I do like the Genesis range...

Yeah I'm worried I'm going to get entangled in the salsa just by looking at it . How many bottles does it need ? If your that thirsty put a barrel in a trailer

I'm sure the Salsa has another bottle cage point somewhere The practical side of the Salsa appeals and is nudging ahead.

Sorry cyfa 'ridgeback' + 'hybrid' aint't gonna happen.

Chris I've looked at all the Surly's, might have a closer gander. The crosscheck probably sits between these two.

Another worht considering, the charge mixer with Alfine hub.

The 2009 has Tange DB tubing and Prestige forks (2010 is Tange Infinity frame tubing and bog stock Tange cro-Mo for the forks and is £50 more expensive, but it's the 2010 model so it must better :? )
