If you feel you must sell then so be it. It must be a good reason?

i dont need to sell, so the money would no doubt be wasted on something else, as it burns a hole in my pocket.

the reason some bikes went in the past, were that they were not right for me, or they took up space and where not used as much, so were disposed of for a replacement.

my main fear is that they (jones) are hard to come by, especially for a modern bike, that id never get another for the price i paid, or the fact they are now going to be made in taiwan for jeff. so the merlin and jeff built ones are going to be more sought after and therefore more valuble and harder to get hold of.

The fact that you feel you have to ask the RB population is an indication, to me, that you reeeeeeeeeeeeally shouldn't set it free ;)

this forum is more level headed and not full of BS like some others, the bike will be a future classic hence i post it on here.

i had this problem with my first andreas i owned.it was my dream bike for years ..yet when i came to own it..i never felt like i really wanted the bike...it was nice dont get me wrong but there is always a danger with achieving your dream//sometimes its not what you expect..its only later when you dont have it again that you realise what a mistake it was .in some ways i dont feel like im really happy with my sannie...guess thats the fun of it all..

IMO you've bought the things you've wanted but haven't kept them long enough to love them. You've got a smashing bike, keep it for a year and put some good miles on it then form your opinion. It fits I take it and you like it by all accounts and you don't need the money, so ride it and learn what the bike and you can do then decide if you need/want something else or different. It'll at least point you in a direction and whatevers caught your eye will still be there later. The Jones is quite special and it'd be a shame to pass up the opportunity to explore the potential of it :)

just sell it rich

e-bays awash with them ,you'll pick up another one for half the value of that one i'm sure

shove it in the loft and ride summat else for a while , my thoughts would
be to buy something mainstream , a zaskarstumpyscale sort of thing ,
capable but not a dream machine like the jeff , it'll give perspective
on what you have there

my 2p's worth

mike
