Colour matching touch-up paint

Just wondered if anyone had any helpful tips for sourcing touch-up paint to colour match various old frames. After a lot of initial success with the colours "black" and "white" I'm now struggling. Good example is this Rockhopper in acid green (pre-clean). I've tried buying random "lime green" automotive touch-up paint on eBay but don't seem to be having much luck. None even vaguely match. Just wondered if there is a more sophisticated way with a smartphone app to get a RAL / Pantone colour or something similar.

Cheers in advance, Richard

Go to an automotive paint suplyer and try some colour cards againt it or they may be able to uv scan the colour for you.
This. Had good results from local body shop supplies. They will make up an aerosol from colour scheme. For stone chips or scratches simply spray a bit of the aerosol into the lid allow the solvents to desolve and apply with a brush or cocktail stick.

superdrug or boots, take the frame with you, you'll find it in the makeup eisle, often called nail polish.
