Colnago SLX spiral conic

I have a Precisa for if you are still looking , threaded steerer , about 185mm steerer IIRC . UK Based .
Message if you want more details .

I've revisited this SLX and getting it ready for paint. The chrome is ok-ish enough that I want to keep it, but the paint or enamel is thick and really chipped. Any advice on media blasting? Would I be able to get it blasted without damaging the chrome? Any informed opinions welcome.

Always best to get it cleaned up by someone with extensive experience of similar cycle frames.
I've seen quite a few frames written off by an enthusiastic professional with little relevant experience.
In one case they still wanted t to be paid🤣

Soda is what I had in mind. Yes I could ask a "specialist" but in my experience, unless you are going for new chrome, paint and graphics from them, they are not interested and make you out to be a cheapskate not forking out for the professional job. I'll be doing the paint and graphics myself and the chrome is good enough for a neo-classico which this frame will become.
