Colnago id help sought

Retro Newbie
First post – hello.
Any experts out there able to help me identify this Colnago road bike? I would guess it's 1980s. Columbus frame and a mixture of Campag and Shimano running gear. It has a chromed back fork not really visible in the photo. Thanks. Phil

Sorry, previously posted this in wrong place.

Hi,

Is there a clover leaf cut-out beneath the bottom bracket? And what type of Columbus tubes have been used? If no cut-out, at first glance it looks like a Sprint or A Super Sprint, 2nd half of the 80s.

Re:

Yes, there's the cut-out under the bottom bracket.

I'm not sure about the tubes. Is there a way of identifying them? The Columbus transfer has partially worn away.

Still confused because now I can see that brake bridge is for nutted mount rather than recessed allen nut which indicates frame is older than some of the parts - as far as I know all Colnago frames from 83 (or therabouts) were with recessed fittings for front and back brake calipers.

Some close-ups/detail pics might help (certainly me with my lousy eyesight :( ) and there are plent of Colnago folk on here who know a lot more than I do, so I hope that they put their two penn'orth in.

Re:

Many thanks for the comments colnagolover, and here are some (not great) close-up shots. They do show some details of the frame and forks. I took these last year, fully intending to stick it on ebay – then took it for one last ride and realised I couldn't do it.

I am guessing that it is an early 80s Super frame but there are details, like the nutted brakes that throw me off and the front fork is not the usual fork for a Super while other details, like the seat cluster, the lugs and the chain stay look like a Super. The bike as a whole looks as if it has been assembled with a mix of components bought at different times (that don't really do justice to a Super frame!!).
