Cold set Reynolds 753 Frame: Re-set???

As far as I remember from my instruction, Reynolds didn't recommend chroming 753, no explanation, though.
Probably a combination of the metal loss from polishing and the likelihood of hydrogen embrittlement and the risk of leaving acids inside the tubes.

That's what I was told, regarding polishing.
A few builders did chrome 753 though; Peugeot, Dave Lloyd etc.
