Cold remedies??

We've been struck by the dreaded lurgy since last weekend, trying the usual over the counter stuff, but has anyone got any old remedies that they swear by??

Few drops of Olbas oil in hot water, towel over head, inhale.

Failing that try what I'm on right now, whiskey Mac....!!

(Inhale, snort, drink, your preference....it doesn't work but you get past caring after the second one.... :facepalm: )

15+ Manuka honey and fresh lemons in warm water taken a few times a day with a few multi vits is good. It has no side effects and it tastes nice.

I'm not a man so I resort to whiskey mac's.....

But agree with the fresh veg, etc, I'm suffering and just made amazing roasties with a veg stew thing, lovely. And a day in the garden helps too.
