I buy a new jet wash to replace the knackered one that broke ages ago.


The same day as my neighbour gives me a working one free.



I buy the girlfriend a new satnav as a present.



A day later I find a perfectly usable Garmin c310 down the tip still in its original box, just requiring a new power lead (£4 off ebay)

Decided to get organised and get the cash together for a new to me Robin Reliant, that same day a pristine 1970's Reliant Robin shows up for sale just down the road :shock:

Didn't buy it, I know Fate, she'll make it catastrophically break down in the ass end of nowhere when there is biblical rainfall and no mobile reception :roll:

Further strangeness - the new satnav broke within a week so took that and the unopened jetwash back to Argos.

Sods law. I buy a FOSS tube repair tool from Germany. Then get told by FOSS they will send me glueless patches free. The tool cost me £25. :x
