Sorry for not replying I forgot about this post!
Our factory is based in the heart of the Formula 1 country, Bicester in Oxfordshire.
We do actually have an opening for a CNC miller at the moment, and for the applicant to earn our "top rate" we would expect the person to be able to set and operate the machine using Heindenhain control. The vacancy is for our Bridgport TNC 570 machine which will be replaced in the next two years as we are doing a investment plan to get rid of all the older machines that we are having issues with.
The person should be able to machine to high quality with low amount of rejects/errors. Quality is very important with in our walls. High level of experience with CAD, 3D work and 4th axis. You would also work in the region of 55-60 hours a week. If the operators earns high value for the company (average of 50ph) then we reward with a bonus scheme.
We have the outlook that if the employees looks after us, we offer it right back. Yes its hard work but then you would expect to sweat for 50kpa
