I think we're pretty sure the serial number means that the frame was built in May 1992, so a late 92 model most likely. But it has to be said that Orange model years isn't the most precise form of science ever invented.
You won't find Humbrol colours that match, but they're very cheap and it isn't against the law to mix red and blue together to make purple. And I find red and yellow makes orange. Don't you listen to that jimihendrix about purple and orange, if it was good enough for Orange it's good enough for us IMHO.
