hi,I am new to retro bike.Been looking on the site for a couple of months but this is my first post.I have a 1988/89 clockwork orange lx.I think this was one of the first ones to be sold as when i worked in a local bike shop called SCHMOOS CYCLES,one of the team riders,TIM DAVIES had the prestige xt,and i had the lx model.I will post some pictures of the bike shortly as i am going to start a rebuild .If any one out there can give me some tips,i would be greatful.

Nice clockwork, needs flat bars not risers

If you're after tips; flat bars and Pace forks. (It's the law!)

Love the clockwork- looks like a comfortable ride with those laid back bars.

Take no notice of anything I say, my clockwork has a modern hollow crankset which is so wrong

Tim Davies is a member on here. "Flyingwelshman". There's a picture of his bike somewhere here but I can't seem to locate it at the mo. Had a very long stem (150mm).

TIM DAVIES CLOCKWORK HAD A STEM AND HANDLE BARS IN ONE.MADE BY ORANGE ,BUT I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME THAT THEY CALLED IT.
